FELLING EXPANDS FACILITIES
Felling Trailers’ new Finishing-Final Assembly area.
(SAUK CENTRE, MINNESOTA, APRIL 30, 2014) – Felling Trailers is excited to announce a new expansion and equipment investments. At its Sauk Centre, MN headquarters, Felling Trailers moved its final assembly department to an adjacent property which gives it an additional 30,000 square feet of manufacturing space on six and one-half acres. The company also purchased and installed a blast and paint booth for its Litchfield, MN manufacturing facility. This represents a capital investment of $1.5 million and will increase production capacity. Additionally, this expansion has added 20 jobs to its respective communities and is actively hiring.
Felling Trailers is a family owned and operated Full Line Trailer Manufacturer located in Central Minnesota that was started in 1974 by Mr. Merle J. Felling. Felling Trailers, Inc. has grown from a small shop to a factory and office complex that today covers over 230,000 square feet. Felling Trailers currently manufactures more than 3,500 trailers a year ranging from a 3,000 lb utility trailer to a 120,000 lb hydraulic gooseneck trailer, and its standard trailer line includes over 220 models.
