With Veteran’s Day upon us, Felling Trailers Inc. wants to take the time to acknowledge our veterans and those currently serving our country. Felling Trailers is proud to hire America’s heroes and offers many opportunities to veterans and those currently enlisted in the National Guard. With 38 veterans currently on our staff, we love having Veterans on our side. Our founder and Chairman of the Board, Merle J. Felling, is a U.S. Air Force Veterans and an adamant supporter of hiring service members.
A Family Business with Ties to Military
Brenda Jennissen, co-owner of Felling Trailers Inc. and proud daughter of Merle J. Felling, was recently interviewed by The National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) about Hiring Heroes: Veterans in the Workforce. Brenda explained why hiring veterans has always been so important to Felling Trailers, “As a family with personal ties to different military branches, respect for our servicemen and women has been instilled in us since a young age. And as a family business, we make an effort to do our part in supporting those that have sacrificed.”
Taking Pride in the Work they do at Felling Trailers
Brenda knows that the workforce at Felling Trailers Inc. has a direct correlation with the quality custom trailers that Felling Trailers Inc. is known for. She points out, “We have National Guard, Army, Air Force, you name it and they’re awesome. Their service to our country is amazing and when they come on board here, they have a passion for doing great work and having pride in their work. The quality they produce is something to be proud of, and we are proud to have them.”
