Felling Trailers, Inc. announces its participation in CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, taking place March 3-7, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Felling will showcase two of its most trusted equipment hauling solutions designed for low-clearance and heavy-duty transport applications. Exhibiting for the third time at this premier international construction equipment exhibition, Felling will be located in Booth P8250 in the Platinum lot, featuring two of the industry’s most trusted equipment hauling solutions: the FT-45-2 TA Air Tilt trailer and the FT-60-4 LP HD (Low Profile Heavy Duty) tag trailer.

Air Innovation Meets Heavy-Duty Engineering
Felling’s exhibit highlights the company’s commitment to operator safety, ease of use, and engineering excellence. Both featured trailers are equipped with Felling’s industry-leading air-operated ramp technology, eliminating the risk of back injuries associated with manual ramp handling while significantly reducing loading and unloading time.
FT-45-2 TA Air Tilt: Industry Favorite for Low-Clearance Equipment

The custom-configured FT-45-2 TA Air Tilt trailer on display exemplifies why this model line continues to be a top choice for equipment rental companies, paving contractors, and construction operations nationwide. Finished in Viper Red with chrome striping, this fully optioned unit demonstrates the versatility and functionality that earned the Air Tilt line the 2013 Rental Editor’s Choice Award and ongoing industry recognition.
What Sets the Air Tilt Apart:
The Air Tilt’s unique design utilizes common air from the tow vehicle to inflate dual airbags (four optional), which smoothly raise the trailer to its tilted position. Unlike other tilt trailers on the market, there are no hydraulic pumps, cylinders, or hoses to maintain. The system also features Felling’s Air-Latch deck lock, allowing operators to lock and unlock the deck with the flip of a switch instead of working with cumbersome manual levers. The airbag system maintains the deck in its tilted position, enabling operators to load multiple pieces of equipment efficiently without resetting between loads.
Key Features:
- 54,200 lb. GVWR with 45,000 lb. capacity
- 38-foot overall length with 24-foot deck plus 6-foot wood-inlaid beavertail
- 6′ x 45″ air-operated ramps with tapered approach for optimal load angle
- 25K oil bath axles with ABS air brakes (2S/1M)
- 49″ spring spread with 25,000 lb. heavy-duty 3-leaf springs
Real-World Applications:
Equipment transport companies rely on the FT-45-2 TA for its ability to safely transport diverse equipment inventories. Paving contractors appreciate the low 7° load angle (with ramps deployed) for loading asphalt rollers, pavers, and compactors. The shallow loading angle and wood-inlaid beavertail make it equally suitable for scissor lifts, aerial work platforms, mini excavators, skid steers, and specialty equipment like street sweepers. Air tilt models can also be optioned without air ramps if a low load angle isn’t required for specific equipment applications.
Superior towing capability and balance are achieved by placing the axles further back than other tilt trailers on the market, giving the Air Tilt the “towability of a TAG trailer with the versatility of a tilt.”
FT-60-4 LP HD: Engineered for Wide-Set Heavy Equipment Loads
The FT-60-4 LP HD is another flagship model in Felling’s lineup of heavy-duty equipment hauling solutions. It represents Felling’s answer to contractors and equipment haulers who regularly transport wide-track excavators, large directional drills, and other heavy machinery with wide undercarriages. As part of Felling’s Low Pro Heavy Duty (LP HD) tag trailer series, this model is built specifically to support wide-set equipment loads that exceed standard trailer configurations. Displayed in Charcoal Metallic with chrome striping, this four-axle configuration showcases the engineering innovations that make the Low Pro Heavy Duty line Felling’s premier heavy equipment hauling solution.

Engineering Excellence:
The LP HD series construction begins with engineered, fabricated hi-tensile Grade 80 main frame beams paired with Grade 80 Jr-I crossmembers spaced 12 inches on center. These crossmembers are pierced through the heavy-duty mainframe, creating exceptional structural integrity. The 10″ channel side rails are turned out (flanges out), allowing for optional outriggers to provide additional support and optimal load distribution for wide equipment.
Key Features:
- 74,000 lb. GVWR with 60,000 lb. capacity
- 44-foot overall length with 30-foot deck, 6-foot self-cleaning double-incline beavertail
- Four 25K oil bath axles with ABS air brakes, Air lift (1st axle) (3) with 9700 Hutch suspension (55″ spread)
- One axle with 55″ spread air ride, Ridewell 260 with dump valve
- 7′ x 38″ angle iron air-operated ramps with bolt-on legs (additional large air tank)
Industry Applications:
The FT-60-4 LP HD serves contractors in excavation, road milling, mining, quarrying, and heavy industrial sectors. Its design accommodates equipment with wide track widths that exceed standard trailer capacities, while the 33-inch loaded deck height maintains ease of loading. The air ride suspension on the rear axle, combined with the air lift axle feature, provides operators with flexibility for different load distributions and compliance requirements across various jurisdictions.
The optional outrigger capability makes this trailer particularly valuable for transporting specialized equipment, where load stability and distribution are critical.
Commitment to Operator Safety and Efficiency
Both trailers featured at CONEXPO 2026 incorporate design elements focused on operator safety and time savings. The air-operated ramp systems eliminate manual lifting, reducing injury risk and enabling solo operation. LED lighting packages with strobe options enhance visibility and safety during transport.
“The construction industry demands equipment that works as hard as the operators who use it. These trailers represent our ongoing commitment to building solutions that enhance safety, reduce operational costs, and stand up to the rigors of daily use in demanding environments.”
