Scott Brown, Parts & Service Supervisor
Name: Scott Brown
Status: 12 Years
Title: Parts & Service Supervisor
Scott joined the Felling Trailers team in March of 2009 as a Parts & Service Associate. In this position, Scott was responsible for selling trailer parts and coordinating service and repairs of trailers for local “walk-in” customers and Felling Trailers’ dealers. Felling Trailers has an expansive dealer network throughout North America, allowing them to distribute their trailers and trailer parts coast to coast. A typical day would consist of handling parts orders received via phone call, email request, online website (Store.Felling.com) sales, along with local walk-in customers. He would also work with walk-in customers and dealers, providing repair estimates and coordinate service and repairs of trailers. Scott came to Felling Trailers with 20 plus years of experience in the parts and service field, working at Hastings Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Jeep, and Eagle (parts & service) and Anderson Trucking (maintaining truck & trailers for their OTR fleet,). He fell in step as part of Felling’s Parts & Service team very nicely.
“I saw this position as a chance to use the knowledge I gained through the years, to assist my team members in their growth, as I was assisted early in my career.”

Paying It Forward, Helping Others Grow
As the company grew and changed, Scott’s role went from a Parts & Service Associate to Parts/Service/Warranty Coordinator. He took on the responsibilities of truck maintenance and repair for Felling’s internal truck fleet. Scott also worked to increase Felling’s Service team business, building relationships with area businesses providing service for their fleets, such as CMDI’s mobile MRI trailers, Quickway Rigging, and more. In 2019 Scott moved into his current role today as, Parts & Service Supervisor. “I saw this position as a chance to use the knowledge I gained through the years, to assist my team members in their growth, as I was assisted early in my career,” said Scott.
“The company has gotten much larger; the thing that hasn’t changed is it still takes everyone to do their thing to make it all work. There are just more of us.”

Since Scott joined the Felling Trailers’ team over ten years ago, he has seen and been part of the company’s growth. “The company has gotten much larger; the thing that hasn’t changed is it still takes everyone to do their thing to make it all work. There are just more of us, “said Scott. For the Parts & Service team, there has been growth in staff and space. It has gone from a team of two members in 2009 to a team of 8 along with two trailer service techs in 2021. The space has grown from a single sales counter to a large parts display area with trailer lighting, tires, jacks, tool boxes, and more readily at hand and available for purchase at one of multiple sales counters. When asked why Scott chose Felling to be where he worked, he said, “it’s the family-friendly environment.” We are glad to have Scott as part of our team. Thank you, Scott!
