Warren Weber, Production Manager

Name: Warren Weber
Status: 5 Years
Title: Production Manager

Warren joined the Felling Trailers team in February of 2016 as the Production Manager for the Sauk Centre and Litchfield locations. As Production Manager, Warren is responsible for the management, direction, and coordination of production objectives and production personnel for both manufacturing facilities. To carry out these tasks, he must work in collaboration with the many departments throughout the company. On a daily basis, Warren keeps open communications with the scheduling, purchasing, production supervisors, human resources, and so on with the continuous goal of streamlined production of the finished trailers.

“As the Production Manager, I get to work with just about everyone in the company.  It takes exceptional people to make an exceptional product, and Felling Trailers has some very exceptional people here.  I’m fortunate to enjoy coming to work every day and being a part of a growing and successful company.”

– Warren Weber, Production Manager at Felling Trailers

Time for Change

Warren came to Felling Trailers with 20-plus years of product production and fulfillment experience, gained while working in the printing industry. With a degree in Industrial Technology, he started his career as an intern, then an Account Manager, and eventually became a supervisor, overseeing Customer Service and Quality Departments. During his time there, he developed and implemented processes to improve department efficiencies in quality and production. “After 25 years of corporate life, I decided to make a career change and have never looked back,” said Warren.

Warren plays an essential role in Felling Trailers’ target objectives to continually research and implement new technologies to reduce lead-time and increase production in the manufacturing facilities. During his time with Felling, the company has added production space with new technologies like the Mitsubishi laser, Safan Electric press brake, and a 2-cell Gantry Robot, along with implementing new procedures such as the Felling Weld Standard and Torquing process. “We have made some huge strides in production, from safety to training, to automation, and improved quality checks. We’ve added a new Fabrication building with new equipment, and soon a new paint and finishing facility. Each department is an ongoing evolution,” said Warren. “As one of my past managers once said “’You can drive your car by looking out the back window, but not for long.’”

It’s All About The People

Felling Trailers Team 2019

When asked why Warren chose Felling to be where he worked, he said, “Without a doubt, the people.  We put a lot of effort into hiring people with the company’s Core Values (Integrity, Innovative Solutions Providers, Positive Attitude, Accountability, Quality, Pride). These Core Values not only make good employees, but they also make good people.  As the Production Manager, I get to work with just about everyone in the company.  It takes exceptional people to make an exceptional product, and Felling Trailers has some very exceptional people here.  I’m fortunate to enjoy coming to work every day and being a part of a growing and successful company.” We are glad to have Warren as part of our team. Thank you, Warren!
